Chef Joseph Alvarez has been cooking professionally for over 25 years! Opening Burrito Mexpress, a Quick-Service Tex-Mex restaurant, in Humboldt Iowa in 2018. He expanded his business in 2021 to include a Mobile Food Truck, called Burrito Mexpress Mobile, then a second BMEX Mobile in 2022. Now in 2024, Chef Joe decided to REBRAND one of the Food Trucks to the NEW "Texas Toast & Tots"! A menu creation different from many of the Food Truck Trends in the Midwest! 'Texas Toast & Tots' features perfectly buttered & Toasted sandwich creations to please any palate! The special seasoning made in-house for the Tater Tots is unmatched, they are a gem on their own! And pairing together a Specialty Sandwich or Wrap, with some seasoned Tots....who's Hungry!
